Welcome To Granada Hills Little League!

Intermediate 50/70 Division [Posted On: January 15, 2018]

We are trying to get the 50/70 Intermediate division going this season. This division is for players league age 11-13.

What does 50/70 mean? The mound is 50' and the bases are 70'. Players are allowed to lead off in this division.

Players can play dual-divisions (if desired) so 11-12 year-olds can play both Majors and Intermediate and 13 year-olds can play Intermediate and Juniors.

While we are still working out the details, the games would be played on Sundays (1p or 330p start times) and we will be interlocking with District 16 (Burbank and surrounding areas). Since we do not have a field to host games yet, the games will be played away. Practices will take place at our facility.

With games only taking place on Sundays, there will be fewer games than the other divisions. The cost for players registered in Major or Junior that want to play in the Intermediate division will be $50. For players who only want to play in the Intermediate division, it will be $150.

We will need to know by Saturday, January 20th if you want to play in this division so we can figure out how many kids we'll have. You can send questions to questions@ghllplayball.com.

2018 Spring Baseball Makeup Try-outs [Posted On: January 1, 2018]

Makeup Baseball Try-outs are set for Saturday, January 20th at 830a. Upon arrival you will need to check in at the clubhouse and receive your number. You will also need to provide proof of residence or a school boundary form.

All Ages - 830a

What does a player need to bring to try-outs?
Players should bring a glove and be dressed in proper baseball attire (cleats, hat etc.).

What happens at try-outs?
Players are evaluated on running, fielding ground balls and pop-flys and batting.

Who needs to try-out?
All players except Tee Ball, Rookie and returning Major Division players must try-out.

What is a returning Major Division player?
A returning Major Division player is a player who played in the Major Division during the Spring 2017 season. If you played in the Major Division in Fall 2017 only YOU MUST TRY-OUT.

If a player played in the Major Division in Fall 2017 will she/he automatically play in the Major Division in Spring 2018?
Playing in the Major Division in Fall does not guarantee a spot in Spring. Depending on the amount of registered players and number of teams there may not be enough space.
